Ron Wheeler

Ronald Wheeler has over 31 years of experience in the meat, poultry, seafood, and pet food industries. His career has included working as a Quality Assurance Manager and an R&D director for a nationwide supplier of bacon, ham, hot dogs, pepperoni and salami, sliced meats, and specialty meat items, as well as a regional Technical Sales Manager for a large international ingredient company. Having an entrepreneurial spirit, Mr. Wheeler started his own global company in 2006 to serve the food industry in process efficiency, yield improvement, water treatment, and ingredient functionality related to quality improvement, shelf-life extension, and food safety.  Since 2006, his international company has developed several commercialized blends for further processed applications and pet food globally. In addition to his passion for the food industry, Mr.  Wheeler is also a community leader and has served as a volunteer firefighter and EMT and managed the distribution of food to local communities through the state food bank.  He has also served in his local and state government as the local Town Mayor and as a Chief of Staff for a State Senator.  He currently lives in Texas with his wife, enjoys outdoor activities, and continues serving his community.
